What are you bringing to this year’s zinefest?
Zine part of the distribution, incl. some latest HC/punk oriented zines like “It’s Just a Phase”, “Just say yo”, “Tigersuit”, “Words upon words”, “Maximum Rocknroll” as well as more social/political magazines like “Fifth Estate”, “Talk The Walk” or “Earth First”. Also, bunch of Polish-language zines.
What are your influences?
DIY Hardcore Punk, straight edge and progressive movements.
Why zines?
Zines are integral part of the DIY culture and great outlet to share views, opinions and stories. Especially important in a age of webzines and messageboards crap.
What are your expectations of the zinefest?
Good influence and motivation for zinemakers to start new zines or keep their own zines in print.
